Your mission
Do you want to work with business-critical SaaS products and lead impactful solution development projects? At QOCO Systems, we offer exciting opportunities to work with global aviation customers as part of a highly skilled, international team. We're now looking for a Tech Lead to join our crew full-time.
As a Tech Lead, you'll be instrumental in driving our product development forward while mentoring a talented group of developers. You should bring strong experience with modern technologies such as
Node.js, TypeScript, and React, and be comfortable navigating cloud platforms like
Azure and containerization with
Docker. You'll also play a key role in shaping our tech direction, and you’ll have plenty of room to grow your leadership skills in a supportive scale-up environment.

In this role, you will:
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of projects
- Coach, support, and mentor developers in your team
- Contribute hands-on to both backend and frontend development
- Collaborate with product and project stakeholders across teams and borders
- Advocate for and implement best practices in software development
- Influence technology choices and project strategies
- Promote a culture of learning, ownership, and innovation
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Relevant educational background or alternative career experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Solid backend experience with Node.js
- Frontend skills, especially with React
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Understanding of event-driven architecture
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Docker
- A proactive mindset and strong communication skills
- Passion for mentoring and leading others
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Residency in Finland
