Your mission
Are you an experienced software developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and mentoring others along the way? Do you want to work with cutting-edge SaaS solutions and leverage AI-driven development to make a real impact in the aviation industry? If so, we’d love to have you on board at QOCO Systems! We are currently looking for an Associate Tech Lead (Backend) to strengthen our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of backend development while also guiding and coaching other developers. You will contribute to architectural decisions, lead development projects, and ensure best practices in software engineering.
Your profile

- Have experience to leverage AI in development, whether through automation, utilizing AI to write code, intelligent algorithms, or integrating AI-driven solutions into the software.
- Have strong experience in .NET Core and Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure App Services).
- Are skilled in SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and understand event-driven microservices architecture.
- Enjoy mentoring and coaching developers, helping them grow and succeed.
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure unit testing is in place.
- Can communicate effectively in English and thrive in an international, collaborative team.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Develop & Lead – Build scalable backend solutions, leveraging AI-driven development to optimize efficiency.
- Mentor & Support – Guide other developers, review code, and help the team continuously improve.
- Project Ownership – Take the lead in backend development projects, ensuring high-quality deliveries.
- Troubleshoot & Improve – Identify issues, design effective solutions, and explore AI-powered approaches for automation and optimization.
- Document & Optimize – Maintain clear documentation and contribute to refining our development processes.
